Sayabling is Manipulative and DishonestDO NOT BUY FROM SAYABLING! If you get nothing else out of this review, you must understand that they will honor NO PART of any of their written policies! I’m sure that, if they can, they will rebut what I say here, but they are lying to you. I have copies of emails that will prove everything I’m about to tell you. 1. Their cancellation policy states that, if you request cancellation of an order within 8 hours of placing it, they will cancel the order with no cancellation fee; if you cancel between 8 and 24 hours after placing the order, they will charge a 10% cancellation fee; if you cancel an order any time after the 24-hour period, they will charge a 30% cancellation fee. Their cancellation policy is useless! I placed an order with them for two rings on the afternoon of May 14, 2025, and placed a second order for two more rings on the same evening. On the second order, I made a mistake on my choice of payment options on PayPal and realized it immediately. Within 10 minutes of my purchase, I sent an email to Sayabling’s customer service department requesting a cancellation and explaining to them that I simply wanted to cancel the order, along with an explanation of why, and that my intention was to then place the same order again using a different payment option. I requested cancellation of this order no fewer than five times (emails to prove it). They avoided answering my request until enough time had passed that I came within the timeframe requiring a 30% cancellation fee which, of course, I declined to do. 2. Their cancellation policy states: “If for any reason you're not satisfied with your purchase, you may return or exchange the unused item in its original condition as long as you contact us within 60 days from the delivery date.” However, when I requested a return authorization, they asked for my reasons. I told them that the ruby ring had an orange tint to it and that the sapphire ring was not of acceptable quality. They asked for photos of the rings, saying it was to verify that the tags on the bands were still intact, so I sent pictures. Their answer was that my pictures matched the color in their pictures, so the ring had been accurately represented. Photos may match, but reality says something different. The level of quality in the sapphire ring is subjective; my level of quality may be different than theirs. The fact is that their return policy offers returns “for any reason”. Obviously, the policy is nullified if they disagree. They have warned me that, if I insist upon returning the items, “shipping costs will be your responsibility, as this is not a quality-related issue.” However, they haven't indicated what shipping costs may be or how much of the purchase price they intend to refund. Additionally, there is nothing in the policy that says there are exceptions to “if for any reason”. It shouldn’t matter if my judgment of quality is different from theirs; they should honor their promise to accept returns for any reason. Do yourself a favor and stay far, far away from these people.
